Enjoy working outdoors and making a visible impact in yourmunity? We're looking for a dependable Grounds Maintenance worker to support the City of Vancouver's Public Works team this season!!

Vancouver, WA SALARY:

 $21 per hour

SCHEDULE

 Full-Time/Part-Time, Weekly Schedule/Shift Requirements, Working Hours, Job Type (Temporary, Temporary-to-Hire, Direct Hire), Job Duration

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain the city's 12 mile trail system through litter control, trimming shrubs, and weed removal Inspect restroom facilities and restock supplies as needed Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment from work trucks Assist with planting native plants and shrubs Support general grounds maintenance and upkeep projects

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience with construction, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or DIY projects preferred Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The position works primarily outdoors and requires exposure to varying weather conditions. Requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying materials throughout the shift. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and load/unload equipment regularly.
