Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Groundskeeper/Facility Tech and play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our outdoor and indoor spaces. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work outdoors, utilizing your landscaping expertise and technical skills to create inviting environments. You will be responsible for landscape maintenance, irrigation management, and general facility upkeep, ensuring our grounds are pristine and well-maintained. This paid position is perfect for someone who loves working with their hands, enjoys variety in their daily tasks, and takes pride in creating welcoming spaces. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weeding to keep grounds vibrant and healthy Operate power tools and hand tools safely for trimming, digging, planting, and other landscaping activities Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct routine lawn care to maintain a lush, green appearance across all outdoor areas Assist with general facility maintenance such as cleaning, repairs, light carpentry, and ensuring equipment is in good working order Support gardening and horticulture efforts by planting new greenery and caring for existing plants Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs to ensure ongoing grounds health Skills Proficiency with irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques Experience with lawn care, gardening, horticulture practices, and landscaping projects Ability to operate power tools such as trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, and other landscaping equipment safely Familiarity with hand tools used in gardening and maintenance tasks Strong knowledge of plant care principles and environmental sustainability practices Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to follow safety protocols rigorously Effective communication skills to coordinate tasks with team members and report issues promptly This role offers a fantastic chance to develop your skills in groundskeeping while contributing to a well-maintained environment.
