Flower Waterer/Grounds Maintenance

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and diligent individual to join our team as a Morning Groundskeeper and Parking Lot Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our restaurant's exterior areas, including watering flowers, general grounds maintenance, and ensuring the parking lot is clean and presentable. This part-time position requires availability from 7am to 11am. No experience necessary - position ends October 1, 2023. Job is open to but not limited to candidates looking for seasonal employment. No puedes hablar ingles.

Responsibilities:

Water flowers and plants around the restaurant premises, ensuring they receive adequate hydration. Perform general grounds maintenance tasks, such as mowing the lawn, trimming hedges, and removing weeds. Sweep, clean, and maintain the restaurant's parking lot, ensuring it is free from debris and litter. Empty trash bins located in the parking lot and dispose of waste properly. Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate supervisor or manager. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation for the exterior areas of the restaurant. Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment when necessary. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on completed tasks and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing time effectively to complete tasks within the designated timeframe. Physical stamina to perform outdoor tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail to ensure that the grounds and parking lot are clean, organized, and visually appealing. Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and report any issues or concerns. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and the ability to consistently meet scheduled work hours. Flexibility to work during the specified morning shift from 7am to 11am.
