Building and Grounds Worker

The City is seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our Public Works team as a Building & Grounds Worker . This position assists with the maintenance and upkeep of City buildings, parks, grounds, and public spaces.

What You'll Do:

• Perform general cleaning, groundskeeping, gardening, and maintenance duties
• Assist with lawn care and snow removal
• Support facility and park rental/event setup needs
• Help maintain City buildings, parks, and public spaces

Salary:

The 2026 hourly pay for this position is $20.00 / hour. This position is eligible for the annual COLA pending City Council approval.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent, Prior custodial, maintenance, landscaping, or grounds experience preferred, Valid driver's license required. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physical labor and operate equipment/tools safely.
