The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves using various tools and equipment to maintain and enhance the beauty of residential and commercial properties. The Landscape Technician will be responsible for ensuring that all landscaping tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Duties Operate power tools and hand tools for various landscaping tasks, including lawn care, tree trimming, and groundskeeping. Perform snow plowing during winter months to ensure safe access to properties. Conduct tree care activities, including planting, pruning, and removal as necessary. Maintain landscape features such as gardens, lawns, shrubs, and trees to promote healthy growth. Assist in the installation of new landscaping features, including plants, mulch, and hardscapes. Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, identifying any issues that require attention or treatment. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality standards. Follow safety protocols when operating machinery and handling chemicals or fertilizers. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance or related field is preferred. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools effectively. Knowledge of lawn care practices, tree trimming techniques, and general groundskeeping procedures. Mechanical knowledge is a plus for maintaining equipment used in landscaping tasks. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. A valid driver's license may be required for driving company vehicles between job sites.
