Job Description
Overview Join Husky Tree Services — the highest-rated tree service in Southeast Wisconsin — as a Groundsman and be part of a company that's growing fast and raising the standard in the industry. Duties Assist climbers and arborists with daily tree removals and pruning operations Drag brush, feed the chipper, and keep the job moving efficiently Operate chainsaws for limbing, bucking, and processing wood Assist with rigging and controlled lowering of limbs and wood Operate mini skid steers and other equipment to move logs and debris Drive company trucks and trailers to and from job sites Set up job sites including cones, signs, and property protection mats Support crane and grapple saw operations on larger removals Load, unload, and manage wood, logs, and debris on site Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times Run + transport stump grinder as needed Complete thorough job site cleanup to company standards Skills Tree industry experience preferred Chainsaw experience and understanding of safe operation Ability to operate or willingness to learn mini skid steer equipment and stump grinder operation Strong work ethic and ability to handle physically demanding work Ability to work in all weather conditions Basic understanding of rigging is a plus (not required) Team-oriented mindset with strong communication Awareness of job site safety and surroundings Dependable and shows up ready to work Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required (no exceptions) Must be able to drive trucks and pull trailers Physically capable of lifting, dragging, and working long hours Willingness to learn and take direction Reliable transportation to and from work Additional Responsibilities Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance Sharpen chains, fuel saws, and keep equipment job-ready Inspect ropes, rigging gear, and safety equipment before use Help maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks and equipment Assist with minor equipment upkeep and repairs as needed Other duties as assigned This is an opportunity to get in with a company that's building something big. Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per weekBenefits:
