Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, pruning, and edging to ensure healthy and attractive outdoor areas. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators for planting, soil preparation, and landscape installation projects. Conduct lawn care activities like aeration, fertilization, and weed control to promote lush growth. Manage tree care tasks including trimming, pruning, and removal to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal. Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and tools including hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery like excavators. Extensive experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and horticulture practices. Ability to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently for landscape installation projects. Knowledge of tree care techniques such as trimming and pruning for health and safety purposes. Ability to perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment to ensure optimal performance.
