Landscape Groundskeeper Position - Scotch Boy, Inc. Locally owned and operated, Scotch Boy has provided quality landscape installation and maintenance services for over 30 years in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Scotch Boy is currently hiring for two, Landscape Groundskeeper Positions . This position will be primarily responsible for working in a crew to provide quality landscape maintenance service to a variety of properties located throughout town. SUMMARY This position will be responsible for working with a crew performing Landscape Maintenance tasks at a variety of locations. They must have experience performing general landscape maintenance tasks such as but not limited to mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, aerating, thatching, fertilizer and herbicide applications. They must be able to maintain a neat and professional appearance and effectively communicate with customers. This position requires an individual who is self-motivated, hard working and team/task oriented.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Basic math, reading and critical thinking skills. Able to lift 50 pounds. Able to run various maintenance equipment i.e. mower, trimmer, aerator etc. Ability to work long days performing strenuous tasks. Able to take directions from others, safety minded, team and task oriented. Ability to adapt to changing work and environmental conditions. Must have reliable transportation to the office with regular, timely attendance. All aspects of the physical requirements are essential elements of the job function.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks. Utilize variety of equipment, power tools and hand tools safely and effectively . Communicate with team members to ensure maintenance requirements are met. Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, adhering to safety protocols. Prioritize workplace safety and quality of work performed.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Must participate in weekly safety meetings. Attend additional training as needed or required. Must have a valid driver's license and clean MVR with the ability to be covered under company's vehicle insurance. Must have reliable transportation. Assist with a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. Maintain a clean and neat appearance. Drug Free Willingness to work in all kinds of weather and conditions.

Salary:

$17.00/hour - $22.00/hour •Pay is dependent on experience•
