Job Summary Join our team as a Maintenance and Grounds Keeper at our Storage Facility, where you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our outdoor spaces and facilities. This energetic position involves performing landscape maintenance, operating various tools and equipment, and ensuring that grounds are well-kept, inviting, and safe for all visitors and staff. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to excellence. Duties Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep grounds vibrant and healthy Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as edging, digging, and installing new plantings or fixtures Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed Conduct regular lawn care activities including fertilizing, aerating, and weed control to promote lush greenery Assist with gardening projects by planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and maintaining existing landscaping features Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards Monitor grounds for hazards or damage, promptly addressing issues such as fallen branches or broken fencing Qualifications Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, or groundskeeping is highly preferred Knowledge of horticulture principles and landscape maintenance techniques Ability to operate power tools, lawnmowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment safely Familiarity with irrigation systems and troubleshooting common issues Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills A proactive attitude with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently Join us in creating beautiful outdoor spaces while developing your skills in maintenance and landscaping!
