Job Description

Temporary Summer Position- In-House Applicants
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing preventative maintenance on all equipment, cosmetic repairs. Troubleshoot and diagnose problems. Performs maintenance, repairs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIILITIES
1. Replaces parts and filters, lubricates and cleans necessary equipment. 2. This position involves cleaning equipment, and all grounds equipment. 3. Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the facilities grounds by mowing lawns; trimming and edging around walks, and walls; pruning shrubs and trees, watering and fertilizing the lawn, and shrubs; sweeping up litter; sweeping and washing sidewalks. 4. Ensure all work is completed within established safety standards and guidelines. 5. This position is responsible for the outside appearance of the facility. 6. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
The position for Groundkeeper requires working knowledge and experience to operate a variety of lawn and garden equipment, cleaning equipment and hand and power tools; be able to learn and follow established policies and procedures; be able to follow verbal and written instructions; be able to understand manufacturers specifications; be able to recognize and investigate and analyze problems and correct them.
