JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for landscaping and grounds maintenance services for the facility.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for the upkeep of facility grounds. Helps ensure landscaping is uniform with a satisfactory appearance. Follows direction from Ground keeping Supervisor to help with established schedules for trimming/pruning, fertilizing, mowing the lawn, planting, etc. Operates all equipment/tools correctly and safely.

Follows all safety regulations:

wears safety apparel when working, i.e., safety glasses, and appropriate shoes. Repairs broken fences/posts as needed. Ensures work sites are left clean and tools and equipment are returned to storage.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education / Experience / License and Certifications Valid State Driver's License. Courses in grounds keeping management, landscape design and landscape project management, preferred. Additional Skills Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Basic computer knowledge.
