Lawn Care Worker

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Care Specialist to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor maintenance, landscape enhancement, and providing exceptional service to clients. This role involves performing various lawn and landscape maintenance tasks, utilizing a range of tools and equipment to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. The Lawn Care Specialist will contribute to creating beautiful, healthy outdoor spaces through skilled horticultural practices and landscape management. Responsibilities Mow, trim, and edge lawns using power tools and hand tools to achieve a clean, professional appearance Perform landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, tree care, and shrub trimming Operate machinery such as excavators and snow plows for seasonal tasks and construction projects Install irrigation systems and maintain existing irrigation setups to ensure proper watering Execute hardscape projects including the installation of patios, walkways, and retaining walls Conduct gardening activities such as soil preparation, fertilization, and pest control Maintain equipment through routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs to ensure optimal performance Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe Support construction projects related to landscaping or outdoor improvements as needed Follow safety protocols when handling power tools, landscaping equipment, and construction machinery Experience Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or related outdoor work is preferred Mechanical knowledge related to operating landscaping machinery such as excavators and snow plows is advantageous Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, horticulture practices, and irrigation systems is desirable Experience with tree care, trimming, pruning, or arboriculture is a plus Knowledge of hardscape installation and general gardening techniques will be beneficial Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks with attention to safety standards This position offers an opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor environments and landscape craftsmanship to develop their skills in a dynamic setting.
