Lawn Care Technician

Job Title:

Team Member-Maintenance Reports to: Foreman and Production Manager FLSA status: Non-Exempt Date of completion: April 2023 Position Summary The Crew Member-Maintenance is responsible for mowing grass, trimming shrubbery, removing trash from the vicinity, and ensuring that implements are stored correctly for all assigned clients.

Responsibilities:

Improves and maintains assigned client grounds. This work may include, but is not limited to: Caring for the grass, trees, plants, and hedges by mowing, pruning, or trimming them, as needed. Wearing and monitoring the growth of the greenery. Extracting and disposing of invasive plants and weeds. Maintaining sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, planters, fountains, etc. Clearing the area of tree limbs and trash and dumping appropriately. Mulching designated areas during appropriate times. Removing and bagging leaves in the fall months. Salting properties as needed in the winter months. Conducting duties in a manner that does not harm or disrupt fauna. Informing the foreman when stock needs to be maintained, replenished, or replaced. Maintaining and storing equipment and supplies safely.

Qualifications:

The following education, skills, and experience are required for this role: Must be at least 18 years of age. 1+ years of lawn care experience. Familiarity and experience with power mowers, trimmers, hedge clippers, etc. Attentive and hardworking. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to follow directions.
