Job Description

The Club at Starr Pass is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Spray Technician. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service to the clubs managed by Troon. The desired candidate would be someone who enjoys working outdoors, is a team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and appreciates the value of hard work. Duties include, but are not limited to, mixing, preparing, and applying chemical solutions (insecticides, herbicides, fungicides). The candidate will also keep up with pesticide and fertilizer inventory as well as keep records of pesticide and fertilizer applications.
Special Requirements:
Have no problems wearing spray applicator suits, full face respirators, or chemical-resistant apparel Able to lift 50 pounds Perform simple calculations Willing to learn Detail oriented Keep the area neat and organized Have or are willing to obtain a Pesticide Applicators License within 60 days of employment
Job Description:
Apply fertilizer and chemical applications Update spray records, inventory, and MSDS sheets Calibrate spray equipment and fertilizer spreaders General upkeep and maintenance on spray equipment Over time, be able to start diagnosing pest and fungus issues This job description is not an exclusive or exhaustive list of all job functions that an associate in this position may be asked to perform from time to time.
