Responsibilities Operate lawn care equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power tools to maintain lawns and landscapes efficiently. Use hand tools and farm machinery to perform tasks like edging, pruning, aerating, and planting. Apply pest control treatments safely and effectively to protect plants from pests and diseases. Assist with landscaping projects including planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and installing irrigation systems. Conduct routine inspections of outdoor areas to identify issues related to pests, weeds, or plant health. Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety protocols and traffic laws. Follow safety guidelines when handling chemicals or operating machinery to ensure a secure work environment. Skills Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, landscaping practices, and pest control methods. Experience with farming or agricultural practices is a plus. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and effectively. Excellent driving skills with a valid license for operating company vehicles. Familiarity with the use of land management equipment such as tractors or tillers is desirable. Good physical stamina for working outdoors in various weather conditions.
