Vegetation Management Technician QS license required

Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Vegetation Control Technician to join our established local team. This hands-on role is critical for maintaining safe and attractive properties throughout our community. You will perform a mix of mechanical removal and chemical applications to manage unwanted vegetation on both private and commercial sites. • Perform mechanical vegetation control using hand tools, mowers, brush cutters, and chainsaws.
• Safely and accurately apply herbicides and pesticides following strict label instructions and integrated pest management (IPM) principles.
• Operate and maintain powered equipment and spray application systems.
• Conduct site assessments, identify target species, and determine the appropriate control method.
• Complete all jobs with thorough cleanup and proper disposal of debris and chemical rinsate.
• Maintain professional communication with property owners and adhere to all service protocols.
• Document work activities accurately, including chemical usage reports.
• Follow verbal or written instructions involved in specific work orders.

Pesticide (CO or QS) licenses: General, Turf (206), & Ornamental (207) are required Qualifications Mechanical knowledge with experience operating power tools and landscaping equipment such as excavators and lawnmowers. Hands-on experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture. Familiarity with tree trimming, pruning techniques, and tree care best practices. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for recordkeeping and task prioritization.
