In this role, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other chemical agents to maintain healthy, vibrant lawns and sports fields. Your expertise will ensure safe, effective treatments that promote optimal turf growth while adhering to all safety standards and environmental regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize specialized equipment, and contribute to the beauty and health of landscaped areas. Responsibilities Safely operate and maintain lawn care equipment to apply chemical agents across designated turf areas. Follow detailed pesticide management protocols and integrated pest management strategies to control pests, weeds, and diseases effectively. Handle chemical agents with precision, adhering strictly to pesticide application guidelines, chemical handling safety procedures, and respiratory protection requirements. Conduct confined space entry safety procedures when working in restricted or enclosed areas of the turf environment.. Drive company vehicles responsibly to transport equipment and chemicals between job sites while maintaining compliance with all driving safety standards. Collaborate with team members on lawn care, landscaping projects to ensure high-quality results that meet client expectations. Experience Prior experience in pest control, lawn care mandatory. Knowledge of entomology principles related to pest identification and control methods is advantageous. Familiarity with pesticide management practices and chemical agent handling is highly desirable.
