Full Time Service Area:

The Villages & Surrounding Retirement Communities We are seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Residential Spray Technician to join our lawn and landscape care team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, can follow established treatment protocols, and is comfortable working independently throughout the day. Primary Responsibilities Apply herbicides to control weeds in landscape beds Spread granular fertilizer to shrubs and ornamental plants Assist lawn and landscape crews as needed Follow daily work orders, treatment instructions, and safety procedures Operate a company truck and maintain equipment in clean, working condition Communicate professionally with customers when needed Requirements Valid Florida driver's license Ability to pass a background check Must be able to work 8‑hour days in Florida heat , walking on grass, pavement, and uneven surfaces Comfortable working independently and completing assigned tasks without supervision Ability to lift 50 lbs and handle repetitive physical activity Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow product labels and company protocols Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct Work Environment Outdoor, year‑round work in hot and humid conditions Daily routes throughout The Villages and nearby retirement communities Company vehicle provided for all service visits Preferred (Not Required) Experience with lawn or landscape maintenance Knowledge of herbicides, fertilizers, and safe application practices Previous experience in pest control, lawn care, or related field Compensation $18/hr for the first 90 days (training and evaluation period) $20/hr after 90 days , based on performance and reliability

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
