Job Description
Crop Application Specialist
A respected agribusiness is seeking a Crop Application Specialist to support custom application, product handling, equipment operation, and seasonal agronomy operations.
Responsibilities:
- fertilizer, crop protection products, lime, and other agronomy products
- Operate sprayers, spreaders, tender trucks, and related equipment
- Load and unload products safely and accurately
- Assist with blending, mixing, and product handling
- Maintain equipment and perform basic repairs as needed
- Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Support delivery, warehouse, and general agronomy operations during busy seasons
Qualifications:
- Custom application, farming, equipment operation, or agronomy operations experience preferred
- CDL, applicator license, HazMat, or tanker endorsement preferred, but not always required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work seasonal hours
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
