Responsibilities Operate farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools to apply fertilizers and pest control products across diverse terrains. Calibrate and maintain application equipment to ensure accurate dosage and coverage. Follow safety protocols rigorously to prevent chemical spills or exposure during application processes. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and machinery to identify maintenance needs or malfunctions. Assist with soil testing, crop scouting, or landscape assessments to determine optimal treatment plans. Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic regulations. Keep detailed records of application activities, including product types, quantities used, weather conditions, and site locations. Skills Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, pest control methods, and land management principles. Experience with sales or customer service in farming, landscaping, or garden centers is a plus. Familiarity with machinery such as sprayers, spreaders, tractors, or utility vehicles. Ability to operate power tools and hand tools efficiently for maintenance or setup tasks. Excellent driving skills with a valid license; experience operating larger vehicles preferred. Basic understanding of land management software or recordkeeping systems is advantageous. Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while performing manual tasks.
