Responsibilities Assist with landscape maintenance duties such as mowing, trimming, pruning, and planting to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators and irrigation systems with safety and precision Support hardscape projects by preparing sites, laying pavers, installing retaining walls, and other construction tasks Perform lawn care activities like aeration, fertilizing, overseeding, and snow plowing during seasonal changes Conduct tree care including trimming, pruning, and general tree health assessments using proper techniques Maintain equipment through routine inspections and basic mechanical knowledge to ensure optimal performance Follow safety protocols diligently while working with landscaping materials, tools, and machinery Experience Prior experience or familiarity with landscaping tasks such as mowing, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform routine maintenance Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment like excavators is advantageous Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant care, tree trimming, and irrigation systems enhances your effectiveness in the role Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential This position is perfect for individuals eager to build a career in landscaping or related fields.
