Duties Safely operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and spraying equipment to apply lawn care products accurately. Assess lawns and landscapes to determine treatment needs based on pest control, soil conditions, and plant health. Follow detailed instructions for the proper mixing and application of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other lawn treatments. Drive company vehicles to various job sites while adhering to safety regulations and traffic laws. Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance. Maintain detailed records of treatments applied, locations serviced, and chemicals used for compliance and reporting purposes. Communicate effectively with clients about service procedures, safety precautions, and after-care recommendations. Requirements Previous experience or knowledge in lawn care, pest control, farming, landscaping, or agriculture is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools such as sprayers, trimmers, shovels, and rakes confidently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with driving farm machinery or utility vehicles is a plus. Familiarity with the use of power tools and farm equipment used in lawn application services. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols meticulously. Good physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
