Job Description
Curbia Lawn Care is a growing lawn care company serving the Lake Minnetonka area. We take pride in providing high-quality service while maintaining a positive work environment for our team. We're looking for an experienced, motivated individual to join our mowing and snow removal crew. We invest in late-model commercial equipment, maintain it properly, and give our employees the tools they need to succeed. We believe in hiring good people, setting clear expectations, and allowing crews the freedom to do their jobs without constant micromanagement. During most of the season, our crews work four 10-hour days (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:00 PM) , giving employees regular three-day weekends whenever possible. For the right candidate, opportunities for advancement into year-round and salaried positions are available. Compensation $22-$30 per hour depending on experience Higher hourly rates available during winter snow operations End-of-season performance bonuses (often exceeding $1,000) Paid Time Off Position Type Full-time summers Lawn care and landscape maintenance during the growing season On-call snow removal and plowing during the winter ResponsibilitiesLawn Care Season Operate commercial lawn mowers, trimmers, and blowers Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail Interact professionally with customers Work safely and efficiently in varying weather conditions Assist with fall cleanups and other seasonal services Winter Snow Operations Respond when snowfall requires service Operate company pickup trucks and snow removal equipment Complete assigned snow routes independently Shovel and clear sidewalks and walkways Work extended hours during major snow events when necessary Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record No DUI convictions within the past five years Reliable transportation to our shop in St. Bonifacius Minimum two years of lawn care, landscaping, or related experience preferred Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated Strong attention to detail Ability to follow directions and work independently Working cell phone Preferred Qualifications Experience operating commercial mowing equipment Experience driving full-size pickup trucks with trailers Snow plowing experience Leadership potential and desire to grow within the company
