Job Description
Build Your Career with Dowco Dowco Enterprises, Inc. is hiring a dependable Lawn Care Technician to help create healthy, attractive lawns and landscapes for residential and commercial clients throughout St. Louis County. This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who is resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. You will drive to multiple properties each day, follow an assigned route, and complete services professionally with limited supervision. Experience is helpful but not required. We provide paid training and a clear path to higher pay as you build your skills and earn your Missouri Category 3 license. What You'll Do Drive an assigned route and find your way efficiently between properties Apply lawn care and landscape treatments Work independently outdoors in heat, cold, and changing weather conditions Learn to identify weeds, pests, and turf concerns Operate equipment safely and maintain accurate service records Communicate professionally with clients and team members Take pride in completing quality work without constant supervision What We're Looking For Dependable, resilient, and willing to learn Comfortable working outdoors during hot summer weather and other changing conditions Able to drive confidently, follow directions, and navigate throughout St. Louis County Able to organize your day and work independently Valid driver's license and safe driving record Professional, safety-minded attitude Your Career Path At Dowco, your pay grows as your skills grow: Begin with paid, hands-on training Advance to running lawn care routes independently Earn additional pay increases for safe, consistent performance Work toward your Missouri Category 3 Ornamental and Turf Pest Control License with company support Pursue opportunities to become a Senior Technician, Crew Lead, or future manager We provide study support and cover the cost of the licensing exam.
