Duties Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to maintain healthy lawns and gardens. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as excavators for landscape installation and maintenance projects. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruning, tree care, tree trimming, and shrubbery upkeep. Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for various landscapes. Execute hardscape projects like patio installation, walkway construction, and retaining wall setup. Assist with snow plowing during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe. Support general maintenance activities including equipment cleaning, minor repairs, and safety inspections. Qualifications Mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment. Familiarity with lawn care techniques, landscape maintenance practices, and horticulture principles. Knowledge of tree care practices such as trimming and pruning to promote healthy growth. Experience with irrigation systems installation and troubleshooting is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual labor tasks. Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to safety protocols during equipment operation. Previous experience in landscaping or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
