Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Landscape Chemical Spray Technician and play a vital role in maintaining beautiful, healthy outdoor environments. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for applying fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other chemical treatments to lawns, landscapes, and agricultural areas. Your expertise will help ensure lush, vibrant landscapes while adhering to safety standards and environmental regulations. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to combine technical skills with outdoor work in a fast-paced, rewarding setting. Responsibilities Safely operate spray equipment, including hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery to apply chemicals accurately across various landscapes. Prepare and mix chemical solutions following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines. Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate treatment areas and identify pest or weed issues requiring targeted chemical applications. Maintain detailed records of chemical treatments performed, including locations, types of chemicals used, and application rates. Drive company vehicles to different job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance on spray equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety. Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling, storage, and disposal to protect yourself, colleagues, and the environment. Experience Prior experience in lawn care, landscaping, agriculture, or farming is highly desirable. Knowledge of pest control methods and the use of pesticides or herbicides is a plus. Familiarity with sales techniques can be beneficial for client interactions and service upselling. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, farm machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for site travel. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for record keeping. Willingness to learn about new chemicals, application techniques, and safety standards through ongoing training. $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
