Job Description
A well-respected agribusiness is seeking a full-time Custom Applicator to apply crop protection products for agricultural operations. This is a hands-on field role for someone with farm experience who is comfortable operating spray equipment and working long hours during peak seasons. Responsibilities Apply herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and fertilizers to crops in accordance with label requirements and application plans Operate sprayers, tractors, and application equipment safely and efficiently Mix, load, and handle crop protection products following safety procedures Calibrate and maintain application equipment to ensure accurate application rates Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleaning Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Maintain accurate application records and documentation Qualifications Agricultural or farm equipment experience Pesticide applicator license (State of NY or recipricol) Valid driver's license (CDL Class A preferred or willingness to obtain) Ability to work extended hours during busy seasons Experience with self-propelled sprayers preferred Mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance skills Knowledge of crop protection products and application practices Please submit your resume to be considered.
