Lawn Maintenance Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining beautiful, healthy lawns and landscapes by performing a variety of groundskeeping tasks. Your expertise will help create inviting outdoor spaces that enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of our clients' properties. Responsibilities Mow lawns using power tools such as riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers to ensure even and attractive grass coverage. Perform landscape maintenance tasks including edging, trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth and visual appeal. Operate hand tools and power tools safely for tasks like aerating soil, installing irrigation systems, and maintaining garden beds. Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate equipment like chainsaws or hand tools. Assist with hardscape projects including the installation or repair of pathways, patios, retaining walls, and other landscape features. Maintain equipment including cleaning, inspecting, and performing routine mechanical checks to ensure optimal performance. Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep pathways safe and accessible for clients. Qualifications

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENCE AND TRANSPORTATION

Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience handling lawn care equipment, power tools, and hand tools. Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including mowing, gardening, tree care, and irrigation systems. Experience with landscaping projects such as hardscape installation or renovation is preferred. Ability to operate machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of horticulture principles and plant health management. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
