Lawn Care Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for landscape maintenance and a strong understanding of horticulture practices as well as a desire to be in a growing business. This role involves providing comprehensive lawn care services, ensuring that residential and commercial properties maintain their aesthetic appeal and health. The Lawn Care Specialist will work with various tools and equipment to perform tasks related to mowing, and overall groundskeeping. Responsibilities Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing debris from lawns and walkways. Execute garden care activities such as planting, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing to enhance plant health and appearance. Operate and maintain lawn care equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools with mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor issues. Conduct tree care activities including pruning and removal of dead or hazardous branches. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining high-quality standards. Adhere to safety protocols while performing all tasks to ensure a safe working environment. Experience Previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping is preferred but not required. Familiarity with lawn care equipment and hand tools is essential; mechanical knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of horticultural practices related to plant care, irrigation techniques, and landscape design is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately in a fast-paced environment. Excellent physical stamina as the role requires standing for extended periods and performing manual labor outdoors in varying weather conditions.
