Job Responsibilities:

Operating and maintaining a wide range of power equipment including spreaders, sprayers, blowers and various hand tools. Applying fertilizers, plant nutrients, and soil amendments according to specific customer needs, seasonal schedules, and industry best practices. Safely applying pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and other chemical treatments to control pests, weeds, and diseases. Complying with local, state, and federal regulations regarding pesticide and fertilizer applications. Keeping accurate records of services performed, including the types and amounts of fertilizers/pesticides used, application dates, and customer preferences. Performing basic math functions to calculate fertilizer and pesticide application rates. Identifying pest species, weeds, and plant diseases to determine appropriate pesticide treatments. Ability to clearly convey information to customers, both in writing and verbally, while actively listening to, and understanding their needs. Skilled in identifying customer issues, analyzing situations, and offering solutions that satisfy both the customer and the company. Maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor with our customers.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 75 pounds) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Licenses:

A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Work Environment:

Working outdoors in a wide variety of weather conditions. Independently driving a box truck, or pickup truck with a trailer. Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
