We are a self-performing lawn fertilization company seeking a motivated Lawn Care Technician to join our team in the Wilkes Barre, PA area. Position Overview As a Lawn Care Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality fertilization and turf care services while maintaining strong customer relationships. Once trained, you will work independently in the field with full support from our experienced management team. There is also an opportunity to join our snow management team during the off-season to earn additional compensation. Job Duties & Responsibilities Communicate professionally with customers to provide knowledgeable, high-quality lawn care services Discuss additional services and recommendations with customers as appropriate Follow assigned daily routes and understand various service types and treatment materials Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and other lawn treatments safely and accurately Read and understand product labels to ensure proper application Responsibly operate lawn care equipment, including ride-on spreader sprayers, backpack sprayers, and push spreaders Complete all required electronic service forms accurately and on time using a handheld device Address customer concerns with professionalism, empathy, and problem-solving skills Communicate daily with office staff to minimize scheduling conflicts and improve productivity Adapt to schedule changes, weather conditions, and seasonal workload fluctuations Maintain company trucks, equipment, and tools in clean and safe working condition Operate company vehicles in accordance with state laws and company policies Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards Licensing & Training Ability to obtain a Pennsylvania Pesticide Applicator License and pass required category exams within the company-designated timeframe (if not already licensed) Maintain required continuing education credits to keep licensing current Paid training provided for both experienced and entry-level candidates

Schedule & Pay Day Shift:

Monday-Friday Full-time hours with overtime available

Starting Pay:
