As a Solo Lawn Care Operator, you'll take charge of all aspects of lawn and landscape maintenance independently, delivering exceptional results for clients. Duties Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and pruning to keep lawns and gardens pristine. Operate power tools such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently. Conduct landscape maintenance tasks including planting, mulching, and garden bed care. Use irrigation systems and perform basic repairs or adjustments to ensure proper watering. Execute hardscape projects like installing or maintaining patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Carry out snow plowing operations during winter months to ensure safe access for clients. Maintain equipment through routine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs using mechanical knowledge. Assist with tree care including trimming or removal when necessary using appropriate tools like chainsaws or excavators. Support landscaping projects by assisting with excavation or construction tasks as needed. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and client specifications while providing excellent customer service. Experience Proven experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to power tools, hand tools, and small machinery operation is highly desirable. Familiarity with landscape construction techniques including hardscape installation and irrigation systems. Experience operating equipment such as excavators or snow plows is a plus but not required. Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care best practices enhances your ability to deliver quality results. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple projects efficiently.
