Up to 40 hours per week Job Summary Native Scenery Landscapes is a family run landscaping company based in South Austin. We provide lawn service, fertilization, cleanups, and small landscaping projects for residential and commercial clients. We are hiring an Experienced Lawn Care Technician to help with lawn service routes and occasional landscaping projects. This is not an entry level position . Applicants must have at least 1 year of paid lawn care experience . Mowing your own yard or helping family occasionally does not count. The right person should already be comfortable using a commercial weed eater and blower safely, confidently, and professionally. Responsibilities Work with the team lead on lawn service routes Use commercial weed eaters, blowers, edgers, and mowers Help with cleanups, planting, mulch, digging, and small landscaping projects Report equipment or property issues the same day Keep job sites, trucks, tools, and equipment clean and organized Requirements At least 1 year of paid lawn care or landscaping experience Hands on experience using commercial weed eaters and blowers Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable working outdoors during Texas summers Able to lift up to 50 lbs Positive attitude and works well with a team Pay and Schedule Starting pay is $16.50/hr , with the goal of reaching $18.00/hr after a successful training period. The training period is typically 2 weeks , but may be extended if more time is needed. Our work week is Monday through Friday , up to 40 hours per week . Start time is 6:30 AM , with a typical end time around 4:30 PM . Team members meet in South Austin near Congress and Slaughter Ln .
