Lawn Technician

Full Job Description We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Lawn Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for performing commercial landscaping and grounds maintenance services at assigned properties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors in high heat and humidity while maintaining productivity, safety, and quality standards. This role involves operating commercial landscaping equipment and performing general lawn care and property maintenance duties. Prior landscaping experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Responsibilities Operate commercial landscaping equipment including zero-turn mowers, backpack blowers, hedge trimmers, pole saws, and chainsaws Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, blowing, and general grounds maintenance Assist with tree trimming, limb removal, and storm cleanup as needed Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials on trucks and trailers Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance on equipment Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required PPE Maintain assigned properties according to company quality standards and schedules Report equipment issues, hazards, or property concerns to supervisors Maintain professional conduct while working on client properties Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Ability to safely operate commercial lawn and landscaping equipment Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a crew Strong understanding of workplace safety and hazard prevention Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced outdoor environment Reliable attendance and punctuality required Basic mechanical aptitude preferred Valid driver's license preferred if operating company vehicles Experience Prior landscaping, lawn care, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required High school diploma or equivalent preferred Physical Requirements Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in high heat and humidity Prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and repetitive movement required Must regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to push, pull, and maneuver commercial landscaping equipment Ability to safely operate vibrating power tools for extended periods Schedule Full-Time Monday to Friday Overtime and weekends as needed Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for advancement and growth Paid time off and holidays Health benefits available Work Location In person Travel between assigned properties required No overnight travel expected Additional Information Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
