421 Enterprise Blvd, I-35 South, Hewitt, TX 76643 Wylie Spray Center , a division of Wylie & Son, Inc., is seeking a motivated and dependable Shop Assistant to support daily service operations in our Hewitt (Waco) location. This position plays an important role in assisting shop technicians, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and ensuring that our customers receive fast, high-quality service for agricultural sprayers and related equipment. Key Responsibilities Assist shop technicians with repairs, maintenance, and assembly of agricultural spray equipment and machinery. Perform general shop duties including cleaning, organizing tools and parts, and maintaining a safe work environment. Load and unload equipment, parts, and materials using proper lifting methods or equipment. Deliver parts or equipment locally as needed (company vehicle provided). Assist with inventory control, parts stocking, labeling, and handling incoming shipments. Complete basic service tasks such as pressure washing equipment, removing/installing components, and preparing machines for service. Support customer service needs and professional representation of the company at all times. Qualifications Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn agricultural equipment service. Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks daily. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous warehouse, shop, mechanical, or farm equipment experience preferred but not required —we will train.
