Duties Assist customers in selecting landscape supplies, plants, gardening tools, and outdoor décor to meet their project needs Maintain organized stock areas by stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and ensuring product displays are attractive and accessible Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Provide expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture practices, and floral design to enhance customer satisfaction Support merchandising efforts by setting up displays that highlight seasonal products and promotional items Conduct inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment to ensure product availability at all times Communicate effectively with customers in English; multilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse clientele Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the yard and retail space to promote a secure shopping environment Qualifications Prior experience or strong interest in lawn care, gardening, or landscape maintenance is preferred Knowledge of horticulture principles and floral design enhances your ability to assist customers effectively Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging a diverse customer base Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking and merchandising tasks Basic retail math skills for handling transactions accurately and managing inventory counts Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and active listening skills Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work outdoors in various weather conditions Join us to grow your career in a vibrant outdoor environment where your passion for landscaping and customer service can flourish!
