As a customer-facing technician, your work will directly impact our customers and their water needs. We are looking for an experienced landscape Irrigation Technician, but will accept applications for an Apprentice level position as well. Role & Responsibilities Assisting Job Foreperson or Lead Service Technician with installations and service calls which includes: Hand and mechanical digging, identifying, installing or repairing, adjusting, and / or replacing pipe, fittings, irrigation components & filters Collecting water samples Loading & unloading the service truck, maintaining truck inventory Transporting required materials & parts to job-sites Operating power tools Operating heavy machinery Creating and completing digital Work Orders, Quotes, and other job documents Organizing & stocking the warehouse Essential Skills Excellent attendance Ability to read irrigation blueprints Mechanically inclined, including the ability to assess, evaluate, and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems Ability to communicate clearly & effectively with other team members and customers Display an ability to learn & master new concepts Display strong initiative Technologically inclined, including the ability to use mobile apps to support paperless workflows Requirements (depending on the position) High school diploma, or equivalent Valid Driver's License Customer service experience - 6 months to 1 year (preferred) Irrigation installation and / or service experience - 6 months to 1 year (preferred) Smart phone with the ability to download applications Pass a criminal background check, driver's record check & a drug screening Pay Entry level position $16 to $18 per hour Experienced position $18 to $22
