Open Until Filled Employment Opportunity The Orem Parks & Recreation Department is currently hiring for a Parks Technician in the Cemetery. This is a full-time, benefited position responsible for specific duties related to the Cemetery, with emphasis in landscaping. Technicians in the Cemetery also work closely with the public in making funeral arrangements and must be able to be sensitive in dealing with families in their time of grief. This position will operate various types of heavy to light equipment and a variety of hand tools related to the Cemetery. Technicians are also required to be on-call periodically and respond to calls on a stand-by basis as needed. The schedule for this position, after training, will require Saturdays. Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent.
• 1 year related experience.
• Must possess and maintain valid Utah Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Must possess and maintain a Non-Commericial Pesticide Applicator License.

Pay and Benefits Individual starting salary will depend on qualifications, certifications, and experience. The City also provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package.
