We need people on both our spray crews and our mow crews. These crews either do the spraying and spreading of fertilizers or mowing and weed eating. We also do various landscape jobs such as mulching, aeration, seeding and general lawn care maintenance. Vehicles and equipment to maintain and fix when necessary. Any knowledge and training in any of these areas are a plus, however willing to train the right person. Shop location is on Canyon Rd. The base hours are 7:30 sharp to 4:00 with some overtime in Spring and Fall. 1) You must have a valid driver's license and be insurable. 2) You must have a dependable way to work on a daily basis and get here on time everyday. We plan our routes and the week based on the number of employees and drivers we have. When one person doesn't show up it causes us to have to regroup a crew and throws the day or even week off. Furthermore, when someone is late, it causes a whole crew to wait on them. So, we need dependable, punctual people who can commit to be here on time, everyday. 3) You must be able to work overtime, including but not limited to some Saturdays. During the busy season, we will be working late at least 2-3 nights a week. Saturdays are mandatory when they are called. Saturdays and late days are depending on weather and work schedule. In slow season, we do Winter treatments and maintenance on vehicles and equipment to gear up for the next season. 4) Experience is a plus. Though we can train, you must have a desire to learn. You may know how to mow a yard, but you may not have ever used commercial equipment or had to meet the standards that our customers expect. It would be a small learning curve if you are willing to learn. Having a bit of mechanical knowledge will definitely help. 5)You must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. You will need to be able to lift bags of fertilizer or other product and help load vehicles. Also, our equipment is big and heavy and to use it will require some strength.
