SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Finishing Spray Applicator I is responsible for applying
CERAKOTE
® coating to firearms. This includes surface preparation, spray application, curing, and inspection. This role requires consistency, precision, and attention to detail to ensure Weatherby products meet the highest standards for durability and aesthetics.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Guide each order through the
CERAKOTE
® coating process, including prep and use of multiple automated and manual machines. Operate spray guns with efficiency and consistency. Maintain a clean and efficient work area. Support continuous improvement in quality and efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma, GED, or minimum 6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent English written and oral communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents including safety rules and procedure manuals. Ability to apply basic math and use measuring instruments. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in standardized processes.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MEASURES
Ensure that assigned orders are completed according to schedule. Maintain quality standards as set forth by Weatherby. Meet objective goals assigned during performance coaching.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to acknowledge: Ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; perform above-shoulder work; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. Prolonged standing required; must be able to manipulate and assemble small parts. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Ability to meet respirator use requirements, including maintaining a clean seal between the face and respirator, and completing medical evaluation and fit testing. Frequently lift/move 25 lbs; occasionally lift/move 65 lbs; push/pull up to 70 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position operates in a manufacturing environment and will be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in this work environment can be loud.
