Summary:

The Nursery Supervisor oversees the care of infants through 5-year-old children of families attending Sunday Worship or other special services at Palisades Presbyterian Church.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Arrive 15 minutes before Sunday worship or special event to prepare the Nursery for children. 2. Properly sign children in and out according to Palisades Presbyterian Church policies. 3. Care for and supervise children in a safe environment with a volunteer assistant. 4. Remain until the last child is picked up after Sunday Worship or special event. 5. Straighten, clean up, and sanitize the Nursery before leaving. 6. Notify church staff about any toy maintenance or repairs and supply needs to maintain a fun and safe environment. 7. Provide nursery care for special Worship events during Holy Week, Hanging of the Greens, Christmas Eve, and other pre-planned special events. 8. The Nursery Supervisor is a key-holder for facilities and must demonstrate capacity to reliably secure church facilities. 9. Perform other agreed upon duties as assigned.

• The Nursery Supervisor needs to hold a current certificate of infant and young child CPR training, current certificate of First Aid training.
• They will adhere to Palisades Presbyterian Church fingerprinting regulation and background check.
• Hiring will be decided after the Personnel Committee reviews the submitted Live Scan.
• They will demonstrate a deep love and care for the youngest of Palisades Presbyterian Church. 2-5 years of similar previous experience required.
• Must be eligible for employment in the state of California.

Candidates 17 and under must show a worker permit.

Pay:

$20.00 per hour
