Job Description

The Cultivation Manager oversees Green Sativa, LLC's Pueblo County cultivation facility. This position is responsible for executing processes and procedures for one of the cultivation locations. The position is labor heavy and includes all cultivation tasks. The Lead is responsible for cultivation functionality which includes leading staff, maintaining inventory and promoting revenue growth through production under the direction of Green Sativa, LLC Management. The Cultivation Manager must be passionate about cannabis while complying with all state and local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure team members work in a timely manner and consistently strive to increase productivity
  • Make sure that cultivation team is maintaining plants consistently and utilizing established Green Sativa methods.
  • Always demonstrates Leadership by actions and acts as an example to others
  • Manages day to day issues as they arise, requesting assistance as needed
  • Always maintains time and attendance and all other conduct and related requirements
  • Ensures staff perform specific tasks in the grow efficiently.
  • Ensuring staff tend to each plant from propagation to harvest; providing water and nutrients appropriately to ensure sustainable growth. Accurately weighing and measuring nutrient and water needs at all times.
  • Accurately and consistently maintains the tracking of each plant and movement via the internal tracking system. Ensuring all record keeping requirements are always met from propagation to harvest.
  • Well researched in new techniques and insight including in-depth knowledge of industry best practices.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
  • Perform all the tasks in the cultivation including but not limited to; cloning, transplanting, feeding plants, defoliation, topping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, trimming, packaging, waste disposal and inventory management
  • Manage plant scheduling and organization to precisely project all garden needs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to maintain efficient production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of strain classifications; Sativa, Indica, Hybrid; mastery and knowledge of growth patterns of strains.
  • Assist state and local compliance audits.
  • Responsible for interviewing new cultivation candidates alongside Assistant Lead Cultivator and Director of Operations.
  • Monitor and maintain plant environments.
  • Must be proactive on material needs for the outdoor and greenhouse cultivation.
