Wholesale Plant Nursery Crew Lead

Are you a self-motivated, hardworking individual with a can-do attitude and a strong willingness to learn? Do you enjoy the outdoors? We are looking for new crew members to join our team! As a Plant Nursery Outdoor Crew Leader, you'll be a critical member of our team that helps maintain the nursery, working as a team player to fill gaps as needed in order get the job done. This is a fast-paced job, and you will need to be able to handle the pressure of time crunches. We are willing to compensate hard-working people! Responsibilities Help load and unload trucks and prepare material for sale: Move items to the correct location in the nursery and provide water. Water, prune and fertilize plants. Pull weeds and help with the general upkeep of polyhouses. Help move plant material in and out of polyhouses in early spring and fall. Trim plants and clean polyhouses in fall. Help weekend crew with watering, potting, truck unloading, and plant maintenance as needed. Irrigation maintenance. Operate nursery equipment. Qualifications This is a physical job working outdoors in all weather conditions Positive can-do attitude Organized with the ability to multitask Attention to detail Although experience in the green industry is a plus, no previous industry experience is required. We are willing to train the right person!
