We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking Outdoor Nursery Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with plant knowledge and customer service experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced outdoor environment and takes pride in creating a positive customer experience. The Outdoor Nursery Associate is responsible for assisting customers with plant selection, maintaining nursery inventory and displays, and helping ensure the outdoor nursery remains healthy, organized, and visually appealing. This is an outdoor position that requires working in varying weather conditions, including high temperatures, humidity, and light rain. Responsibilities Assist customers with plant selections and gardening advice, Maintain the outdoor nursery area by watering, pruning, fertilizing, and caring for plants to promote healthy growth and vibrant displays Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for retail sales, cash handling, and transactions while providing excellent customer service Requirements Passion for gardening, horticulture, floral design, or outdoor landscaping with some experience preferred but not required Basic retail math skills for cash handling and sales transactions Organizational skills to maintain tidy displays and manage stock efficiently Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy bags of soil or plants, standing outdoors in various weather conditions, and performing landscape maintenance duties Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude that fosters positive interactions with visitors of all ages Join us as an Outside Nursery Associate, where your enthusiasm for outdoor beauty meets rewarding retail work!
