Job Description
Position Summary This project will help manage the Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site which will include preservation, installation, and documentation of artifacts, specimens, or artwork within a museum collection. Hosting Organization Tuskegee Airmen National Historic Site Location Tuskegee, AL Schedule July 13, 2026 - July 9, 2027 Key Duties and Responsibilities Assist with installation, repair and rehabilitation of exhibits. Provides information to visitors, researchers, and park staff Perform clerical operations in support of the curatorial operation Perform museum housekeeping, implementing environmental monitoring programs and preparing data recording. Marginal Duties Unpacking objects and processing them (cleans, identifies, repacks, labels, and preserves objects). Required Qualifications US Citizen Required to operate a government motor vehicle Valid driver's license Wear an SCA uniform May be required to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (if necessary for a special event) Preferred Qualifications Experience with museums Interested in pursing a career in cultural resources This SCA Position is authorized under the Public Land Corps Authority. All participants must be between the ages of 16 and 30, inclusive, or veterans age 35 or younger. Participants must also be a citizen or national of the United States or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States. Hours served can be applied toward the Public Land Corps (PLC) hiring authority. Hours 40 per week Living Accommodations Housing is not provided for this position
Compensation Living Allowance:
