Job Description

The City of Durango is hiring part-time team members to support softball field maintenance and game preparation for our parks and recreation facilities. In this role, you'll help maintain safe, clean, and well-prepared athletic fields by assisting with field striping, infield grooming, facility cleaning, and general grounds maintenance. What You'll Do in
This Role:
Prepare softball fields for games and events through field striping, painting, grooming, and general maintenance. Operate and maintain equipment such as striping machines, grooming tractors, and other athletic field maintenance tools. Clean and maintain athletic field facilities, restrooms, grounds, and public spaces. Assist Parks and Recreation staff with special projects and seasonal maintenance activities. Provide helpful and professional customer service while responding to public questions and concerns.
You Have:
A valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one. The ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions needed for successful job performance. You Will Succeed in
This Role If You:
Enjoy working outdoors in varying weather conditions and performing physically active work. Can work independently while staying dependable and safety focused. Communicate clearly and work well with coworkers and the public. Are comfortable operating equipment and lifting up to 50 pounds.
