Job Description

Distinguishing Features of Work This is an exciting, hands-on seasonal supervisory position at OJ Watson Park, where you will oversee daily operations, ensuring the safety and satisfaction of park visitors. You'll be responsible for supervising staff, managing park activities, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patrons. Whether handling cash registers, patrolling the park, or managing incident reports, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations and customer experience at OJ Watson Park. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are looking for a flexible, seasonal position with room for growth and leadership experience. •Posting may come down at any time•Examples of Work Performed Supervises staff and day to day operations. Completes daily incident and cash reports. Patrols the park grounds. Serves as liaison between the staff and Park Manager. Operates cash register. May perform custodial work. These examples are not intended to be all-inclusive. Other related duties may be assigned as needed. Requirements of Work Ability to listen to, read, interpret and apply instructions received Ability to plan, organize and supervise the work of others Ability to lift empty containers weighing up to 50 lbs. up to a 4-foot height Ability to lift and move large, sometimes bulky objects weighing up to 80 lbs. with assistance Ability to move about quickly, and stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop or squat, as needed to perform assigned tasks Ability to work outdoors in unpleasant weather conditions Ability to tolerate airborne nuisances associated with open grounds and windy conditions Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates and the public Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing An employee will not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace Offers of employment are contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical, which includes drug screening, and upon satisfactory evaluation of a criminal record check.
