WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Help bring parks and outdoor spaces to life through landscaping, equipment operation, and daily upkeep. Keep facilities clean, polished, and welcoming for the community. Pitch in on repairs and maintenance projects that keep everything running smoothly. Work with a dedicated crew to create safe, vibrant spaces everyone can enjoy.

YOU SHOULD HAVE

Experience with light to medium equipment (bonus points for backhoe skills!). A can-do attitude and pride in getting the job done right. The ability to work outdoors in all kinds of weather. A team mindset - because the job is more fun when everyone's in sync.

REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED, with 1 yr. of vocational school preferred 1-2 years' experience operating light & medium equipment (or equivalent combination of education and experience) Must be able to obtain KY State Pesticide License within one year

SALARY:

Pay Grade G1; $42,806 annually

WORK HOURS

40 hrs. a week; hrs. will vary Mon-Fri, 6-2:30 pm or 7-3:30 p.m.; weekend work required The City of Bowling Green is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug - Free Workplace.
