Do you enjoy being out in the community around Brooklyn Center? We have a great summer opportunity to work for Parks and Recreation making Brooklyn Center beautiful! A Litter Crew Member is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appearance of assigned outdoor and indoor areas by collecting litter and waste. This role supports a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the public, employees, and visitors. Work will be led by a staff member and will include work at various park and facility locations for Brooklyn Center. Examples of Duties Collect and properly dispose of litter, debris, and waste from streets, sidewalks, parks, parking lots, and other assigned areas Ability to use basic tools and equipment such as litter pickers, brooms, bags, and carts Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times Interact courteously with others Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Customer Service Ability to work independently and follow instructions Dependable and punctual Supplemental Information Work Environment Outdoor public spaces and facilities Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift light to moderate loads for extended periods There are no benefits associated with this position.
