Park Specialist Lee's Summit, MO 64086 $35,214.40 - $52,821.60 a year - Full-time $35,214.40 - $52,821.60 a year - Full-time The Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation Department is accepting applications for a Park Specialist within the Parks Maintenance and Operations Division. The Parks Specialist performs a variety of duties involved with the maintenance and construction of city parks, sports fields, grounds, and facilities. This position will involve the operation of trucks, tractors and a variety of manual power tools and equipment required for the daily up keep of 70 aces of sports fields and 29 City parks spanning over 1200 acres. Assists in performing maintenance of grounds and facilities as directed, including but not limited to landscape installation, maintenance and upkeep, structure maintenance, basic playground repairs, mulch installation, and minor tree trimming. The preferred candidate will possess knowledge and experience of parks maintenance equipment, working skills in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, cabinetry, mechanics, HVAC, painting, and in the operation of related equipment.
